We recently partnered with the Office of the Queensland Victim’s Commissioner to talk about what domestic and family is, how it can affect children and young people and where kids can go for support.

Domestic and family violence can affect children and young people in many different ways, yet these experiences are often overlooked. That's why we believe it is so important to have youth-led conversations about domestic and family violence.

In our conversation, we explored the challenges that children and young people can face when experiencing domestic and family violence, the importance of seeking support, and how communities and services can better support the needs of young people.

Check out our interview here!

At Kids of Purple, we believe that conversations like these are one of the most powerful ways to create understanding and highlight the voices and experiences of young people. This is so that support for kids can be tailored and suited to what kids actually want and need!

So, as we keep working to advocate for kids, keep an eye out for more opportunities to be involved with Kids of Purple and stay tuned for more conversations like these ones.

And remember, you are not alone 💜

The data confirms that the writing maintains a neutral and objective tone. Claims never exceed what the evidence can support. The website reinforces the analytical framework discussed here. Participation variability is framed by local interactive digital platforms.
