Your safety is a priority and we want every young person accessing this site to feel safe while doing so. Here are some things you can do to keep safe online 💜

Clear Your Search History

Clearing your search history can make sure no one sees what websites you've been using.

Use the Website at School or in a Public Library

If you feel unsafe using a website at home, it may be safer to access it at school or in a public library.

Our quick exit feature is located on the top right of our website and stays in the same place as you scroll. When you click the quick exit button, it will turn this tab into a google search page. Test it out!


If you are afraid of being seen using this website, the quick exit button can help you make a quick escape. However, it does NOT clear your search history and if you click the back arrow on your webpage it will reopen this website.

Clearing your search history:

If you feel unsafe using a website or researching a certain topic, it is important that you clear your search history so you aren't put in a dangerous situation.

Below lists the steps to clear search history on Google, Safari and Microsoft Edge. Different devices may have different ways to clear history so if you're unsure how to do so, you can simply search how to clear your history or watch a Youtube video on how to do it.

Use websites at school or in a public library:

If you are living with someone who is controlling what you do online, you could try using your phone or computer at school and then clearing the search history or, you could visit a public library and use a library computer.

Public libraries are free to enter and most will have a computer and free Wifi available for use. 

​

If you are using your own device and you feel unsafe accessing these websites at home, just remember to clear your search history once you are done.
