Our Story!

Hi, I’m Ruby, the Founder of Kids of Purple! After experiencing exposure to domestic violence as a child, it was evident there was a gap in support for young people. There were many valuable websites available online but I found it was hard to understand some of the ‘adult’ language and felt there was little attention on the experiences of young people and nowhere I could really access support. From this experience and from hearing the experiences of other young people, Kids of Purple was created to provide a platform that would help young people feel validated in their experience and comfortable with understanding youth-friendly information.
